A Little Luck

We drove home early Sunday from my parents house to get a jump start on any holiday-ending traffic and also to have some time to take down the rest of our Christmas stuff. Jim still had to take down the outside lights and I needed to put away the ornaments so Jim could also haul our tree to the curb.

It had rained the night before and all day it looked like it could maybe rain again - dark, grey clouds in some areas, but then blue skies in others. It was pretty cool looking. Just as Jim was about to saw the tree in half outside (which Ben was super excited to watch), it just started pouring. But half of the sky was still blue skies. Of course that made for one incredible rainbow. We could see the entire thing just over the houses across the street from us.

Is this a sign of good things to come in 2013? I hope so.
