Christmas Card Lane

The Saturday before Christmas we went over to Tracy and Marcos's house for an early dinner before heading over to Christmas Card Lane. They go every year to see the lights, but Jim and I had never been before. It's a neighborhood in Rancho Penasquitos that consists of about 4 or 5 streets and they all put up Christmas lights and either wooden figures or a "card" of some sort in the front yard. It was nice to walk around and see the lights and drank some hot chocolate. A few groups were playing music outside and almost every house had people over and they were sitting either in their garages (with a bar set up) or on their driveway with fire pits. We also saw a camper with Santa inside and some sort of car made to look like a sleigh. All the kids enjoyed seeing the lights as well. What a way to kick off our long Christmas weekend.
