The Hoelting's July Visit (Late Post)

We were so excited when we heard the Hoelting's were coming to CA to visit the entire July 4th week! They decided to stay at our house in San Diego for a few days, then we all headed to my parents house in Orange County for the actual holiday and a few days after.

There was lots of lego-playing, park adventuring, sand castle building, water splashing (Ben's first time on a slip n slide), fighting (then best buddies 2 minutes later), and memory creating going on in those few days. We hosted a BBQ at our house one afternoon, watched the boys so Lori and Craig could have a date night at George's in La Jolla one evening, and somehow managed to get Brady to sleep through the night without a peep (which wasn't happening at home!). During the week, Lori, Craig, and the boys (and Grandma at times) were busy playing tourists at the Safari Park and Legoland. What a treat to have them out here.
