Nana, Gramps and Aunt Mary meet Ben!

We were so excited to hear that Nana, Gramps and Aunt Mary were coming to visit us all the way from New York to meet Ben! It was so special that they could see him at such an early age and enjoy him as a true newborn. Jim and I loved seeing them as well. They brought us some very cute gifts and were so generous and cooked some yummy meals for us to enjoy the next week and some to freeze for later. We are still enjoying the lasagna and stir-fry, thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. It was such a treat to have them out here.

They got into town Friday evening and just came by for a short time to meet their new grandson before settling into their hotel for the weekend.

Mary took some great pictures of Ben all weekend - here is one of my favorites.
So peaceful in his bassinet

On Saturday, we decided to take full advantage of the 80 degree weather and decided to have a BBQ outside. We invited my parents and Lori, Craig and Chase too. It was so great to have the 2 families together (first time since our wedding) and just enjoy the day.
