Ben is 3 weeks old!

The past 2 weeks with Ben have flown by! I can't believe he turned 3 weeks old last Thursday. He is getting to be such a big boy. The last time he was weighed, he was up to 8 pounds, 6 ounces. He has his "2-week" appointment with the pediatrician on Monday, so we'll see what he is up to then.

We have had several visitors the last 2 weeks, but of course I forgot to take pictures every time. Ben got to meet Lisa & Brady, Lauren & potential future girlfriend Reagan; Bridget and Megan. I think Ben was sleeping for everyone's visit, but they got to hold him and love him for a bit. It was so great to see everyone, thank you for coming by and for all of your generous gifts (and food!). We really appreciate it.

Grandma Thuerbach has come down a few times over the last 2 weeks to help Mommy run errands (I still am not supposed to drive) and to spend time holding Ben. He loves falling asleep in her lap and on her shoulder. :)

Ben has been a really great baby so far - he does pretty well at nights, usually waking up 1-2 times to eat and falls back to sleep MOST of the time (not recently!). He loves his baths (looking forward to giving him a real bath since his umbilicial cord finally fell off a couple days ago), tried out his swing for the first time, and seems to enjoy "tummy time" - he even flipped from his stomach to his back on his own already!
