Another great week

Ben will be 5 weeks old tomorrow! He was weighed again today and is now at 9 pounds, 9 ounces. You might say he's a great eater! He's definitely rocking the big belly and double chin these days - we love it! Nice and healthy. :)

Here's Ben in his "1 Month Old" onesie - great idea Jennifer! We plan to take a picture every month to see how much our little guy grows.

Ben had another visitor last week - well, 2 visitors actually - Sarah and her adorable dog, Tucker. Sarah got to hold Ben most of the time while she was here (she is a natural!) while Tucker got chased and bullied around by Bailey. It was a bit crazy with all the activity, but really fun and we were excited to have them over.

Here are a couple of other random pictures from this past week - one is of Ben bonding with Bailey. The only time Bailey really takes an interest in Ben is when he is on his mat for "tummy time". Ben has gotten many toe licks while down there! The second picture is of Ben in his crib. He sleeps in his bassinet in our bedroom, but I decided to put him in his crib for a minute to check out his mobile and see how little he is in there. Don't worry, we'll clear the crib of all the animals before Ben actually starts sleeping in it! The third picture is of Ben in his towel after another bath - he seems to be enjoying the warm water more and more every time.

Another successful bath!

Last weekend we decided to enjoy the beautiful weather and walk around La Jolla. We walked around town, then down by the water. Last time we were in La Jolla, all of the seals were pregnant - now the baby seals had all been born and did not leave their mother's side. Some were nursing, others were laying on the beach and a few were swimming in the water. It was so amazing to see.
