Ducks, water and a train!

We had a very busy weekend! We fed the ducks at the park down the street from our house, ventured to a new park with a big splash pad and lots of fun equipment to climb on, filled up the swimming pool from Grandma and Papa for the first time, and the highlight of the weekend for Ben - took a ride on a steam train at Poway's Midland Park! We are having fun exploring our new neighborhood and enjoying the mild summer weather.

We just recently realized our local park has a mini lake with ducks! Checking out the ducks - yes the water is that green! Silly guy was eating half of the bread :) Feeding the ducks with Daddy My 2 boys taking a rest (it was almost naptime)

Poway Midland Park Got our tickets! Waiting to board All aboard! On the train, showing off his ticket He was so fascinated with the train Checking everything out - very serious! Waving to everyone in the park as we went around Ben and I taking in the view Looking out the window (once we had stopped) Pointing out the steam Time to go get some ice cream! Sitting by the fountain, enjoying our ice cream sundae Mmm.... What a fun day riding the train! Sunset Park Figuring out how the splashpad works Moving onto the playground

Back to the water! Drinking it, of course
First time filling up the little pool Giving me a pose in the water He loved "swimming" in the little pool
