Thankful

Ben recently brought home a fun project to do at home. He was given a feather and was instructed to write his name on it, have a parent write all the things he was thankful for in the feather, and then decorate it however he wanted.  Each child in his class will do one and they will build a big "thankful turkey".  As you can see below, he is thankful for doing art, Mommy & Daddy, baby brother, Ms. Kinz' toys, friends, playing outside, music & dancing, all my family, teachers, kids in my class, and my school.  He spent quite a bit of time painting, adding stickers and getting just the right amount of glitter glue on his feather.  The next day in class he got to present his feather and talk about it before hanging it on the wall.  He was so proud of it.

And what am I thankful for?  Starbucks red cups, which means I can now order my Decaf Soy Gingerbread Latte, No Whip! :)
