Haircut Dilemma

I am always so torn when it comes to cutting Ben's hair. I absolutely love the little blond curls, but it can also look like a complete mess and requires more work to keep it looking nice. We tend to let it grow until we think it hits that point of just looking unkept. I was shocked when Jim said he wanted to let it grow out for his sister's wedding, thinking it would look adorable slicked back. But then it got to that messy point and we both said, "time for a haircut". So here are the before and after pictures. I think we'll try and let it grow this summer to see how it looks on the longer side.  That is, if we can get past that messy phase.
