Trick-or-Treat (One More Guy!)

We had so much fun trick-or-treating this year! Jim came up with the golfer/caddy idea so once we borrowed the adorable golfer costume from my sister and Jim made his Master's caddy outfit from a painter's suite and some green pen, we had to come up with something for me. I thought beer girl, but Jim suggested I could hold the scoreboard sign and I thought that was a bit more appropriate. :) Jim made the sign, I threw on a blazer and my best golfer-looking hat and we were all set!

We headed out of the house at about 5.45pm and quickly realized that was a little too early - no one else was out yet! So we just walked around the neighborhood for a bit. One group of people were taking pictures on their front lawn and LOVED Ben's outfit - the lady ran inside to get her husband to show him and took tons of pictures!

They were our first house for trick-or-treating. Ben didn't want to say "trick-or-treat" or go up to their door, but once they brought candy to him and it clicked that that was his reward, he caught on quickly! We went to about 15 houses in our neighborhood. Ben loved to push the doorbell himself and once people opened their doors, he practically walked inside! Especially if they had a dog inside. Then he would stick his hand into their candy bowl! No one seemed to mind and actually wanted to get rid of candy so Ben ended the night with his pumpkin completely full! He was all about saying "Trick-or-treat", "Happy Halloween" and "Thank You" at each house. Then, as we walked down the driveway, he would say, "One more guy!" He definitely enjoyed himself. Of course we didn't get a family picture - oh well!
