Halloween Fun at School

This was Ben's first Halloween at his new school and boy, did they make it fun for the kids! First, all of the kids lined up with their classes to participate in a big parade around the perimeter of the playground. They had fun music blasting and they kids did about 4 laps around the playground. The babies were hilarious in their huge costumes, being pushed in strollers or trying to walk with some assistance. Ben was having a great time, passing everyone to get around the playground as fast as he could - he did not stay with his class at all! Hahaha! Next it was time for games - each classroom had a different game set up for the kids to play. Ben's class was a little young for some of the games and had a really hard time sitting still, waiting their turn, but they were definitely having fun. Ben was happy to have Mommy there and insisted I sit on the carpets with them in each room. :0) They finished up their morning festivities with a class party - with cupcakes, fruit, juice, and muffins. The morning was definitely crazy - the kids were super hyper and so excited/confused to have their parents there - there was a lot of crying, smiling, yelling, picture taking, running around, trying to round up kids, and generous chaos. But the kids had a blast and they kicked off Halloween in a big way.
