Happy Halloween Partner!

Ben's school does such a great job on Halloween - they call it their Harvest Festival and it includes dressing up (obviously), a parade around the playground, class parties, and carnival games in the big auditorium, followed by trick-or-treating at Ms. Yabi's bus! Ben decided he wanted to be a cowboy this year (after several weeks of saying he wanted to be a train conductor) and we couldn't believe that he actually wore all of the pieces of the costume (that part has always been a struggle - usually we get no hats or extra pieces on him). I was fortunate and got to spend most of the morning with Ben and his class. Check out how much fun they had!

Our cowboy (minus his guns that made an appearance at night)
Watching Finding Nemo before the big parade outside
Ben was so excited for Halloween and to have me there :)
Strutting his stuff!
The kids lining up to start the parade
The babies come out first - so adorable!
Ben's class, making their way around (this picture cracks me up - he was yelling, "Hi Mom!" all the way around and waving)
Here they come
Matthew, Lily, Ben, and Mason
Giving me waves and smiles
They went around in a circle about 4 times :)

"Ironman" Joey
Waves from Jo-Jo
Two of my favorite helpers at the school - Ms. Jackie & Ms. Darcy (daughter/mother)

Hanging with Mommy
Lined up to go play games in the auditorium
They fished...
...and threw pumpkins to knock down cups...
...and threw rings on duckies...
...and threw balls into bowls...
...and threw more rings onto an octopus...
...and had pumpkin broom races...
...so they could exchange their tickets for prizes!
The whole class checking out their prizes!
Walking over to Ms. Yabi's bus to trick-or-treat for a bag of candy
So cute!
Time for the class party!  Ben sitting with James, Lily, Abigail, Nolan, and one other boy I don't know :)
Proof that he ate celery!  I couldn't believe it.
