Pre-School Easter Party & Egg Hunt

Last Thursday, Ben had his class Easter party and they also had a big egg hunt all over the entire playground area of his school. The egg hunt was for his class and one other class that has younger kids (2's). When I got there, they were just finishing up putting out all of the eggs for the kids - there were so many! I couldn't believe it. I went to Ben's class and his teacher was trying to round them all up and get them ready to find eggs (trying to explain that no one was to open any yet - yeah right!). Ben was so excited to see me and have me there. At first he wanted me to go with him to find eggs, but once we got outside, he took off on his own! He was on a mission. It was so cute to watch all of the kids. Ben even gave a couple of his eggs to other kids who didn't have an many and helped his friend James collect eggs since he was stuck in his stroller (with a broken leg).

Once all of the eggs were found, we headed back into Ben's class for his party. The couple of Mom's there helped pass out food and the kids had a great time. They didn't even open up any of the eggs! They put them aside to take home later. After the party, the kids were instructed to go to the reading area to read and the Mom's said their good-byes. I feel so lucky to be able to participate in these little events at Ben's school.
