We were so busy running all around on Ben's birthday that we forgot to open his presents from Aunt Kirsten, Uncle Rich, Will, Corbin, and Avery! So Monday night after dinner, "Ben-mas" - as we like to call birthdays that seem to last all month long - ended with him opening up those presents. He was so excited to get a train and helicopter for his train table, another Lego set, some Thomas movies, and one gift that took us a minute to figure out what it was! LOL! It was a bucket of snowballs! So cute. The closest we'll get to having a snowball fight at our house. Ben loved it!
Tuesday we went to Ben's 3-year appointment and he did so great! It was the first time he had to stand on a real scale, line up against the wall to get his height, try and read the eye chart and listen with the headphones to test his hearing. The eye and ear tests were still a bit over his head, but he had a great time talking to his Dr. and seemed to enjoy his visit (no shots helped!). Ben now weighs 28 pounds (12% - yay - better than 2%!) and is exactly 3 feet tall (around 12% as well).
