4 months!

Last Friday (June 19), Ben officially turned 4 months old. He had his 4 month appointment and is doing great! He is in perfect health and now weighs 13 pounds, 10 ounces and is 24.5 inches long. In the past month, he has become much more active and aware of his surroundings! Here are a few milestones Ben has hit...

- He's officially laughing! At first we weren't sure if he was just making weird noises or sometimes we would get a hint of a giggle, but we are certain now that he is laughing!

- He has no problem flipping from his front to his back and vice versa. We are constantly finding him on his stomach in the morning when we go in to wake him up (or when he wakes us up).

- He is drooling a lot lately. Maybe his teeth are about to make an appearance...

- He is still putting everything in his mouth and now recognizes his bottle. He reaches for it when he sees it in front of him and guides into his mouth.

- He has become interested in our food. When we are eating, he is oogling over our dishes as if he wants to take a bite.

- He has become very observent and is taking in as much info as possible.

- He is talking a lot. At least, it's his form of talking... More of a jibberish, but he likes to make all sorts of noises and carries on his own private conversations!

I don't think this bath tub is going to last much longer...

Our little man is getting big! It's amazing to watch him grow and learn and experience new things for the first time. Before we know it he'll be walking around...scary! He has brought such happiness into our lives, and we are truly fortunate to have such a wonderful little boy!
