On January 8th, Oliver turned 1. Since it fell on a weekday, we all had to go about our regular routines of winter camp, work, and daycare. But he was definitely spoiled at his daycare and then we celebrated that evening when we got home. Oliver had a big pile of gifts to open (which Ben gladly did for him!) and then we let him try ice cream for the first time. He wasn't so sure at first (probably just because of the coldness), but then he realized it tasted pretty good! :) Just a little teaser before the big cake 2 days later....
