Ben's school puts on a big Halloween Carnival every year - it's the biggest fundraiser of the year and also an opportunity for the kids to dress up since they are not allowed to wear costumes to school the day of Halloween. They do an amazing job - especially considering it's all done by volunteers. They have carnival games, a bounce house slide, food trucks, music playing, demonstrations by the local karate place and HS cheerleaders, orbs you can go in (Ben's first time!), and lots of raffle prizes. I volunteered to work at Ben's class booth (golf) for a couple of hours in the morning and then we all went back to enjoy it as a family.
We got lots of Halloween care packages in the mail this year - from the Hoelting's, Grandma and Papa, and the Meier's. So thoughtful of everyone - the boys loved it!
