Easter Weekend

What a wonderful Easter holiday we had this year! Ben got more goodies than one little boy should get in an entire year. :) Nana & Gramps sent Ben an adorable bunny with chocolates and some amazing chocolate Godiva eggs for Jim and me. The Meier's sent Ben a little care package with some great little toys and his first PEZ! So thoughtful of everyone.

We spent Easter weekend in OC with Grandma and Papa and our close family friends, the Campbell's, joined us on Easter day. Ben spent a lot of time playing with Grandma's latest toy purchase - a piano with a bench to sit and play. Ben loved it. We also spent time at the local park, petting the neighbor's bunny and turtle, enjoying the hottub, and Ben helped Papa open his birthday presents.

On Sunday, Jim put Ben's basket outside of the front door and knocked to get his attention. He saw the basket, brought it in and immediately dumped it! He found a chocolate egg and unwrapped it and popped it into his mouth - all before I could even take a picture! It was hilarious. If candy is involved, he is excited! He also loved his new harmonica and spinner gun. Ben had a lot of fun finding eggs in the backyard too. He kept saying "I need more" everytime he put one into his basket. And of course it didn't take long for him to open the eggs to get to the candy. After some spa time, we all enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared by my Mom. It was a great day with friends and family (although I missed the adult egg hunt, I have to admit!).
