It's raining, it's pouring...

Last weekend was one of the rare ones we get in Southern California when it rains pretty much the entire time, so we had to come up with some fun things to do with Ben indoors. We decided to give Play-Do a try for the first time. It didn't really go over that well - Ben was just ripping it apart and throwing it, which everyone knows can lead to disasters on carpet, so we put that away pretty quickly. Now I know why it's the one thing my Mom wouldn't allow in the house when my sister and I were growing up! We also checked out another indoor playground not far from our house. It was okay - Ben definitely enjoyed himself, but it was pretty small and felt a bit dirty. Sunday the rain let up enough for us to spend a little time at the Zoo. We are really putting our annual passes to use! Ben did great and we saw all kinds of animals, but the best part of the day for him was splashing in the puddles! We need to find some rain boots.....
