We got a special visit from Jim's parents this past weekend and it was so wonderful to see them again. We refer to them as Nana and Gramps and we were laughing because sometimes when Ben tried to say it, it sounded like banana and grapes. He has no problem with "Nana" but I think "Grapes" might just stick. We thought it was so cute. Jim's Dad was traveling with work, so managed to end his trip in San Diego and his Mom flew out from New York as well. Ben was so happy to spend some time with Jim's parents, since he hadn't seen Nana since his birthday and Gramps since last Christmas.
We had so much fun all weekend - we took Ben to the Zoo for the first time, we spent some time in La Jolla, we hung out in our new place, ordered in sushi, enjoyed meals at Brockton Villa, Karl Strauss and Cody's, and just enjoyed catching up and spending time together. Ben is missing his Banana and Grapes already and we look forward to the next visit!!!
