For the Monday holiday, we decided to head to the beach. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate and it was overcast and a little colder than we would have liked, but the waves were HUGE and so cool to watch crash up against the rocks. The boys had a great time exploring, making sand castles, getting their toes wet, collecting shells and eating the sand (that would be Ben!). We ended up having a great time and I'm so glad we went. It was Ben's first time to play at the beach and I was happy to see he enjoyed it so much - I foresee lots of trips to the beach this summer! :)
