Happy 1st Birthday Ben!

Our little bug turned 1 year old today! I can't believe a whole year has flown by already! We now have a little toddler on our hands and every day just keeps getting better and better. Jim had the day off of work so my boys got to hang out all day, celebrating Ben's big birthday. They played in the morning and watched some of "The Lion King". Jim's mom, Christine, is in town from New York so once she got here, they all headed to my work to see some of my co-workers and go out to lunch. We had a great time at Islands, then Jim and Ben spent some time this afternoon at the park down the street from our house. For dinner, we headed to La Jolla where Nana is staying and after exploring the lobby a bit, headed to our favorite restaurant, Karl Strauss, for some food and beer. Ben ate a big dinner (as usual) and made lots of new friends who all commented on his "1st Birthday" shirt! :) What a great way to spend Ben's first birthday. We love you bug!!!
