Balloon + Sand = FUN WEEKEND!

We headed up to Orange County this past weekend to spend some time with my parents and also so Jim and I could go out to dinner alone Saturday night for an early Valentine's date. Of course we didn't take any pictures at dinner in Laguna Beach (we forget to take our picture these days!), but we had a great time. The rest of the weekend we enjoyed the unseasonally hot weather with trips to several parks and playgrounds for Ben to explore. We let Ben go into the sand for the first time (he always tried to eat it before) and he was having a blast! He was throwing the sand in the air and it was landing all over him and on top of his head. He would just bust out laughing - it was hilarious. Ben also got a huge kick out of the balloon left over from my Mom's birthday in January. He was carrying it all around with him - going in circles around the kitchen/family area and holding it while he continued to play with other toys. What a funny guy!
