9 months old!

Ben just turned 9 months old and we are just amazed at how quickly he is growing up and how big he has become all of a sudden. He is always on the go - crawling everywhere, pulling himself up onto all of the furniture, pushing his car walker and even standing on his own for up to about 20 seconds!

He is full of smiles and giggles and all kinds of funny noises these days - he recently learned to make a clicking noise with his tongue and the tongue-out-"pphh" noise is very humorous! :) Ben thinks it's hilarious to move his head back and forth as if motioning "no" and he just started mimicking Jim today when he said "ut oh".

Ben has moved onto the Stage 2 foods now - he's had peas, green beans, pears, carrots, applesauce, squash and his all-time favorite sweet potatoes. He tried Yo-Baby yogurt for the first time today and seemed to really like it. Of course he still loves his yogurt melts and Puffs. He drinks water out of a straw from his own cup now and has been sleeping through the night for about 12 hours straight (except the nights he's dealing with teething pain).

He still just has one bottom tooth, but you can really see it now. He loves going for walks and gets excited whenever he sees us getting the BOB ready. He also still loves his bath and gets super excited when he sees his duck bathtub come out after dinner.
