Christmas in San Diego

This past Saturday, Jim and I had our own little Frisbee family Christmas - just the two of us. We decided to "borrow" Lori and Craig's annual Holiday tradition of going to the Hotel Del in Coronado to enjoy the lights, ocean view and atmosphere. Only in San Diego can you get a picture like this - an ice skating rink with an ocean view! Notice how melted and wet the ice is - looked a bit dangerous out there! We watched the sunset, had a glass of wine and checked out the shops and elaborate Holiday decorations at the gorgeous Hotel Del.

Jim and I enjoying the sunset at the patio bar

The amazing sunset that evening

In front of the Hotel Del at night - it took a crew of 3 two months to put up all of the outside lights

The lobby tree - it had 20,000 ornaments and took 10 people 2 solid days to decorate

The carolers in the lobby

Here is our attempt at a Christmas picture this year - I had to keep Bailey occupied with a treat and he always tried to eat it just as the pictue flashed!

We've also been making progress on Baby Frisbee's nursery - we got the crib and dresser delivered and all assembled - it was actually a lot easier than I thought it was going to be thanks to my handy husband! Now everything is just in a big pile on the floor, waiting to be washed and organized. :0)

Putting the crib together

Finished crib!
