A Day with Jack & Jillian

Over the Labor Day weekend, Jim, Ben and I got to spend a day with my college best friend and her family. Devin and Steve have 2 kids - Jack who is 3 and Jillian who is about to turn 1. We seem to have developed an annual tradition of going to the Irvine Lagoon near their house every August. It is perfect for kids because it's like going to the beach but with no waves, no seaweed, no salt and add in a couple of slides! :) I didn't take any pictures at the Lagoon this year because we were too busy going down the slides and catching up. That evening they came over to my parent's house for a BBQ. The boys were SO HYPER and having the best time with my Mom's big exercise ball. It was hilarious - I thought for sure someone would get hurt, but no injury to report. Just a lot of sweat, smiles and laughs! We had such a good time hanging out and it was so nice to see little Jillian again (last saw her when she was 3 months old!). She has to be the sweetest, most easy-going little girl.
