11 months old!

Our little guy is just one month away from turning 1 year old! It's amazing how quickly they learn new skills at this age. Ben was taking a few steps at the beginning of January and now he barely ever crawls, it's all about walking! He cruises all around the house and even though he's still a bit unsteady, when he falls he just pops back up (he just learned that one a couple of days ago) and starts again. It's so exciting to watch and you can tell he's having a blast.

Ben had a weight check at 11 months since he was falling a little under the curve for weight and he is now in the 7% for weight (18 lbs, 10 oz) and 25% for height. We (and his dr) aren't concerned because he is a GREAT eater and eats a lot - he's just super active.

Ben is now onto pretty much all solid foods. We still feed him some baby food to make sure he is getting enough, but he loves feeding himself and seems to try just about everything. Avocado is still the one food he will spit out!

We noticed tooth #6 the other night and some of Ben's favorite things are pulling stuff out of drawers and down off of shelves/dressers, checking out Dad's files or the vacuum (he loves the thing!), bathtime (he can't wait to get in every night) and dancing (he sways back and forth while holding onto something).
