Labor Day Weekend

What a great weekend! Saturday we spent ALL day clearing out our guest room in preparation for the new nursery. We boxed up all kinds of photo albums, books and frames and threw away everything else. :) Now we just have a bed, computer and shelves left in the room. It felt so good to get that done, although I'm still sneezing from all of the dust.

That night we decided to have a picnic on the grass in La Jolla overlooking the ocean.

We got lucky with a beautiful sunset.

Sunday was the big CSU/CU rival football game. We headed to Guava Beach for the 2nd year now and were joined by several of our friends from CU. Half of the bar was CSU fans so it started out friendly, but once the beers and bionic beavers went down, it got a little rowdy.
